My family is going to Crested Butte tomorrow, and we're taking two of my nieces with us on the trip. Tien and I drove and picked them up today.

Tien and I are down to the last few days in Colorado Springs. Today we walked to the lake by my parents house, which is much different than it was when we first moved to this neighborhood. We also went after a geocache but didn't find it. Lot's of good places to hide around here, but few caches...

Today Tien and I met up with Jeff and Chelise at Slaytons in Colorado Springs. They had just gotten back from their honeymoon and it was the first time we really had a chance to talk since I hadn't seen them in months except at their wedding.

Tien and I went camping with some friends at The Crags this weekend. It was Tien's first time camping, and her first time seeing her breath in such cold air.

Tonight Clint took Tien and I out to dinner as a wedding gift.

Tien and I stayed with Dan and Cass for a few days this week. We spent a lot of time walking around downtown Denver. I'd always wanted to use one of the downtown Denver alley's for a fashion photo shoot, but with a larger format camera that would give it the look I want. Still haven't gotten there yet, even with this snazzy new lens.

Dan spotted some bees calmly working away outside the 16th street mall Wolf Camera shop. Tien, Dan and I had gone down there to get some filters for the new lenses and hang out for the afternoon, waiting for a little party at Double Daughters later that night.

Today I got Dan a new lens as a thank you for photographing my wedding, the Sigma 30mm ƒ/1.4 pictured here, and I got myself a new lens for a wedding I'm shooting at the end of the month, the 24-70mm ƒ/2.8 that took this photo.

Tien and I picked up the MOJA travel bug on Cat Ba Island in Vietnam and brought it to Colorado with us. Today we dropped it off at Tansy's Lake Box.

Today I married Tien! Our photographer was my good friend Dan who I explored film photography with a long time ago, and it was cool to be working with him again after years of not doing anything serious. He was using my D300, but I took it a few times to snap some shots of my own, such as this one of Tien with Ute Pass and Cheyenne Mountain.

Today Tien and I stopped by Sheri's flower shop to talk about the bouquet for our wedding the following day. Last day being single!

I had just bought a Lastolite trigrip diffuser and was playing with it in front of Sheri's flower shop, testing out the different effects you could get with it. This was sunlight through the diffuser, as seen reflected in her eyes.

Today Tien, my parents and I went to visit my Grandmother. We ate ice cream and my grandmother purposely made a big, silly smile when I tried to take her photo, and when she saw it she laughed and said it was awful. I'm happy that she still has a good sense of humor at 90.

Today my long time friend Jeff Foster married my long time friend Chelise Gring in what is probably the most enjoyable, perfect wedding I have ever attended. This was taken minutes before the ceremony began.

Jon took Tien and I out on the boat with three of his daughters this morning, and it was a perfect day to be on the water.

We spent the morning dress shopping for our wedding, but took some time to play with puppies at the pet store.

After arriving at my sister's house late the previous night, today Tien finally got to meet my parents and my brother.

After spending the night in Elko, which wasn't even halfway to our destination, we had a long day of driving ahead. Since I kept pulling over to take photos, like this one in the Salt Flats of Utah, we didn't arrive in Littleton until 10:30pm.

Today Tien and I got in the car and caravanned with Gerald and Lorinda out of California on our way to Colorado. We stopped at this vista point to rest since the Donner Summit rest area was closed.
