The wind blew a bunch of sand onto the highway a week or so ago, so the highway has been closed down since then. The weather has been good and they finally came and cleaned the sand off, but for some reason the highway is still closed. It's nice for the pedestrians, but but the drivers take out their frustrations by driving faster than they should in a long line down our residential street.

As I predicted, they closed down Upper Great Highway through Sunset yesterday, and the and just keeps piling up. I headed south on the coast and found this result of years of high wind.

Last night the winds were insane, I heard that they were up to 75mph. Tien and I went running in Golden Gate Park in the morning and found this downed tree.
